Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS/GCP infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Lead migration of legacy systems to cloud-native microservices architectures
- Optimize cloud spending through automated cost governance and FinOps practices
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Kubernetes for 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Mentor junior engineers in DevOps best practices and cloud security (SOC2 compliance)
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into scalable infrastructure
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cloud infrastructure experience with AWS/GCP certification
- Expertise in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS/GKE)
- Experience with monitoring/observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
- Proven track record of leading infrastructure migrations at enterprise scale
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work across time zones
