Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage highly available, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Lead the migration of legacy systems to modern cloud-native architectures.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and testing processes.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex issues in real-time.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Security, and Software Engineering.
- Ensure compliance with federal security standards and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, specifically with AWS.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Deep understanding of containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Datadog, or Prometheus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment.
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one is highly preferred.
