Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize scalable cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS/Azure platforms
- Lead DevOps automation using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services
- Monitor system performance and implement proactive security measures (IAM, encryption, compliance)
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews for quality assurance
- Document architecture blueprints and operational procedures
- Drive cost optimization strategies without compromising performance
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering with AWS/Azure certifications
- Expertise in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, PowerShell, or Bash)
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) and serverless architectures
- Proven track record of optimizing cloud costs and performance metrics
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience
- Ability to obtain US government security clearance (if required for projects)
