Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain AWS/GCP infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Automate CI/CD pipelines for microservices deployment using Jenkins and GitLab CI
- Monitor system performance with Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack
- Implement security best practices including IAM policies and network encryption
- Optimize cloud costs through resource tagging and architecture reviews
- Lead disaster recovery planning and incident response protocols
- Mentor junior engineers on DevOps best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years in cloud infrastructure with AWS/GCP certification
- Expertise in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible)
- Strong understanding of CI/CD methodologies and tools
- Ability to work independently across time zones
