Your Mission:
As a Senior Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of freight across the Northeast. You will maintain our high standards of customer service and fleet safety.
Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight distribution guidelines.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients during pickups and deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes and delays.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the assigned equipment.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no DUI or major violations.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and highway safety regulations.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for minor vehicle adjustments.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
