Responsibilities
- Develop & Maintain: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend APIs and microservices for our core platform.
- Night Operations: Oversee system performance and stability during off-peak hours to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Code Quality: Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code; conduct thorough code reviews.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues and bugs in a timely manner.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the frontend team and product managers to define feature requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in backend software development.
- Location: Must be located in or willing to work remotely from San Francisco, CA.
- Skills: Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go; experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Availability: Must be available to work a full-time night shift schedule.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
