Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend services and RESTful APIs.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and frontend developers to define and implement new features.
- Optimize database queries and ensure data integrity across distributed systems.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior engineering staff.
- Identify and resolve technical debt to improve system stability and performance.
- Implement robust security measures and compliance protocols.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in backend software development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Azure.
- Deep understanding of relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in an Agile environment.
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
