Responsibilities
- Lead R&D: Drive the research and development of hybrid quantum-classical algorithms aimed at solving complex, high-impact problems.
- Strategic Roadmap: Define and execute the technical roadmap for Apex Future Systems leading up to and beyond 2026.
- System Architecture: Design scalable, fault-tolerant AI architectures that integrate seamlessly with emerging quantum processors.
- Prototyping: Build and deploy high-fidelity prototypes to validate theoretical models in real-world scenarios.
- Mentorship: Guide a team of junior data scientists and quantum engineers in best practices and innovative thinking.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, product managers, and legal experts.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related STEM field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in AI, Machine Learning, or Quantum Computing development.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, C++, and TensorFlow/PyTorch. Experience with Qiskit or similar quantum frameworks is highly desirable.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
