Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ethical AI governance frameworks for autonomous systems
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments on machine learning models
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed ethical safeguards into AI pipelines
- Advocate for regulatory compliance with evolving AI legislation
- Lead cross-functional workshops on responsible AI deployment
- Research emerging ethical challenges in generative AI and biometric systems
- Author white papers and industry standards for AI accountability
Qualifications
- PhD in Philosophy, Computer Science, Ethics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in AI ethics, responsible AI, or compliance roles
- Expertise in fairness metrics, bias mitigation, and model interpretability
- Published work on AI ethics or contributed to open-source ethical frameworks
- Strong background in regulatory landscapes (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Experience with MLOps and AI development lifecycle
- Exceptional communication skills for technical/non-technical stakeholders
