As a Senior 2D Interaction Developer, you will bridge the gap between design and engineering. You will architect scalable rendering engines, optimize performance for complex vector graphics, and push the boundaries of what is possible in a browser. Responsibilities
- Architect and implement high-performance 2D rendering engines using HTML5 Canvas and SVG.
- Develop complex interactive animations and micro-interactions that delight users.
- Optimize rendering performance to ensure 60fps experiences across devices.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes into high-fidelity code.
- Build reusable component libraries for 2D graphics and animations.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers on best practices.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex rendering issues and cross-browser compatibility problems.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in 2D interaction development or animation engineering.
- Deep proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and modern frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
- Strong understanding of Canvas API, SVG manipulation, and requestAnimationFrame.
- Experience with WebGL or Pixi.js (preferred).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Portfolio demonstrating complex 2D animation projects is required.
