Job Description
We are seeking a talented and passionate Senior 2D Animator to join our award-winning creative team in Los Angeles. In this role, you will be responsible for bringing our digital products to life through stunning motion graphics, character animation, and seamless visual storytelling.
As a key member of our design department, you will collaborate closely with art directors and developers to ensure that our animations not only meet the highest aesthetic standards but also perform perfectly across all platforms. Responsibilities
- Create high-quality 2D animations and motion graphics for web, mobile, and marketing campaigns.
- Develop storyboards and animatics to visualize project concepts before production.
- Utilize industry-standard software (Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop) to execute animations.
- Optimize video files and assets for various bandwidths and devices without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with the creative team to refine animation timing, spacing, and character performance.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in 2D animation and motion design.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in 2D animation, motion graphics, or character animation.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Cinema 4D (preferred).
- Strong foundation in animation principles, including squash and stretch, timing, and anticipation.
- Ability to create clean, vector-based assets that scale perfectly.
- Portfolio demonstrating a strong range of 2D styles and motion work.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to take constructive feedback.
