Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance commercial/residential landscapes through planting, pruning, and seasonal upkeep
- Operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently (mowers, trimmers, blowers)
- Collaborate with crew leads on design implementation and project timelines
- Conduct regular site assessments to identify maintenance needs
- Adhere to NJ pesticide application guidelines and safety protocols
- Assist in seasonal installations (mulching, lighting, irrigation systems)
- Participate in sustainable landscaping initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid H2B visa sponsorship eligibility (non-US residents)
- Minimum 1 year professional landscaping experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor in varying weather
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Basic English proficiency (written/verbal)
- Flexible availability including weekends and early mornings
- Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness
