Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of resort amenities including pool areas, dining facilities, and guest services
- Supervise and train seasonal staff teams (15-20 employees) across multiple departments
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, ADA, and California hospitality regulations
- Develop and implement seasonal event programming for international guests
- Coordinate with corporate HR team on H2B visa documentation and onboarding
- Resolve guest inquiries and service escalations within 30-minute response time
- Conduct weekly performance reviews and team development sessions
Qualifications
- 3+ years hospitality management experience in resort/hotel environments
- Proven track record supervising international staff teams
- Valid H2B visa sponsorship eligibility (non-US passport required)
- Fluency in English with bilingual skills in Spanish highly preferred
- OSHA 30-hour Hospitality certification or willingness to obtain
- Availability for seasonal contract (April-September 2024)
- Ability to work 45-50 hours weekly including weekends/holidays
- Basic knowledge of California labor laws
