Responsibilities
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload freight trucks and shipping containers in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, and quality control checks.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and OSHA guidelines.
- Perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors regarding daily tasks and issues.
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid H2B visa (non-immigrant status).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Ability to speak and understand basic English for safety and communication purposes.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labor duties.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Reliable transportation to the Houston worksite is required.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
