Your Role
As an Agriculture Worker, you will play a crucial role in our harvest operations. You will be expected to work efficiently and safely to ensure the highest quality produce reaches our markets.
Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops (berries, vegetables, or grains) using manual and mechanized methods.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems.
- Perform general farm maintenance, including weeding, pruning, and soil preparation.
- Inspect crops for quality and disease, reporting any issues to the Farm Manager immediately.
- Assist in packing, sorting, and loading harvested goods for distribution.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and H2A regulations during work hours.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets efficiently.
Qualifications
- Must be eligible for H2A visa sponsorship (or be a US citizen/Permanent Resident).
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including rain, snow, and extreme temperatures.
- Physically fit with the stamina to perform repetitive manual labor for extended periods.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required by the harvest season.
- Basic English communication skills are required for safety instructions and team coordination.
- Previous experience in agriculture, farming, or landscaping is preferred but not mandatory.
