Responsibilities
- Crop Management: Perform manual and mechanized tasks including planting, cultivating, and maintaining various crops.
- Harvesting: Participate in the timely harvesting of produce, ensuring high-quality standards and proper sorting.
- Machinery Operation: Operate agricultural machinery and equipment safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Maintenance: Assist in the general maintenance of fields, irrigation systems, and farm buildings.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols regarding chemical handling and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with fellow workers and supervisors to meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Documentation: Must possess a valid H2A visa or eligibility to work in the United States legally.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor for extended periods, including lifting, bending, and standing.
- Experience: Prior experience in agriculture, farming, or landscaping is preferred but not mandatory.
- Work Ethic: Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
- Weather Tolerance: Willingness to work in various weather conditions, including heat, rain, and cold.
