Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including planting, cultivating, and harvesting seasonal crops (peppers, onions, and corn).
- Operate provided agricultural machinery, such as tractors, harvesters, and loaders, following all safety protocols.
- Monitor crop health and identify pests or disease issues to report to supervisors.
- Maintain field hygiene by removing weeds and debris to ensure optimal growing conditions.
- Load harvested produce onto trucks or pallets, ensuring proper handling and quality control.
- Assist with general farm maintenance, including irrigation setup and repair.
- Adhere to all company policies, OSHA safety regulations, and labor laws.
Qualifications
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (extreme heat, rain, or cold).
- Physically fit and capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Willingness to learn and operate farm equipment (training is provided for all machinery).
- Valid government-issued ID and eligibility to work in the United States.
- Reliable transportation to the job site.
- Basic understanding of agricultural safety practices is a plus.
