Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized customer service through product knowledge and style guidance
- Drive sales achievement through upselling, cross-selling, and trend-based recommendations
- Execute visual merchandising standards to maintain brand aesthetic
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems while maintaining cash security
- Support inventory management through stock replenishment and cycle counts
- Collaborate with team to achieve weekly/monthly sales targets
- Participate in product training to maintain expertise on new collections
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year retail or customer service experience preferred
- Proven ability to meet/exceed sales goals in fast-paced environments
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail in cash handling and inventory processes
- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems (e.g., Square, Shopify POS)
- Availability for flexible scheduling including weekends/holidays
- Passion for sustainable fashion and local Oakland community
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
