Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers immediately with a friendly demeanor to ensure a positive first impression.
- Assist customers in locating and selecting products that meet their specific needs and budget.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients through follow-up communication.
- Keep the sales floor organized, clean, and stocked to ensure a pleasant shopping environment.
- Upsell products and services to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed about product features, promotions, and industry trends to provide expert advice.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency in using technology, specifically POS systems and mobile devices.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Self-motivated with a strong drive to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift merchandise as needed.
