Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, and develop and implement comprehensive nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and hospital committees.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license to practice in the United States.
- Demonstrated proficiency in English (both written and verbal) to meet Joint Commission standards.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred, but Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) considered.
