Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography and simulation applications
- Operate and maintain cryogenic quantum processors with 99.9% uptime
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing hybrid quantum-classical frameworks
- Optimize qubit coherence times using advanced error correction protocols
- Document breakthroughs in peer-reviewed journals and industry whitepapers
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
- Secure patents for novel quantum methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum annealing or gate-based systems
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Expertise in machine learning for quantum data analysis
- Certification in quantum hardware maintenance (e.g., D-Wave)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
