Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computing systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for AI optimization and machine learning acceleration
- Conduct cutting-edge research in topological quantum computing and superconducting qubit stability
- Collaborate with hardware teams to prototype quantum processors with 1000+ qubit capacity
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patents in quantum cryptography and information theory
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming languages like Q# and Qiskit
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum computing frameworks (IBM Q, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum assembly languages
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement, superposition, and decoherence principles
- Experience with cryogenic systems and quantum hardware integration
- Strong analytical skills with ability to optimize complex computational problems
