Responsibilities

- Author groundbreaking research papers for Nature/Science journals and IEEE conferences
- Secure multi-million dollar research grants from NSF, DARPA, and private foundations
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise clients
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers and develop quantum education curricula
- Partner with hardware teams to overcome quantum decoherence challenges
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (postdoc preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum computing research with published breakthrough papers
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and error correction techniques
- Proven track record of securing $500K+ in research funding
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement, superposition, and quantum gate operations
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
- Exceptional presentation skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
