Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Lead quantum hardware integration projects with superconducting qubits
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with AI teams to hybridize quantum-classical machine learning models
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature/Science journals
- Secure $2M+ in government and industry research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Expertise in cryogenic quantum hardware systems
- Strong background in machine learning frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow)
- Experience securing NSF/DARPA research grants
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement protocols
