Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum hardware-software interfaces
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure $5M+ in government and industry grants for quantum research initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates and contribute to our quantum education curriculum
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science from a Tier 1 institution
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Proficiency in quantum circuit simulation and NISQ device optimization
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum information theory, and complexity classes
- Experience securing government grants (NSF, DOE) or corporate partnerships
