Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead experiments on superconducting quantum processors to validate theoretical models
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at international conferences
- Drive open-source contributions to quantum software frameworks like Qiskit and Cirq
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional teams on quantum principles
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and quantum error correction
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, PyQuil)
- Strong background in superconducting qubit systems or trapped-ion technologies
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent top-tier journals
- Experience with quantum simulation software (Qiskit Aer, Cirq, Quil)
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
