Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum protocols using 256+ qubit processors
- Develop error mitigation techniques to enhance quantum circuit fidelity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate theoretical research into practical solutions
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international quantum computing conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development
- Stay current with emerging quantum hardware architectures and software frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and statistical mechanics
- Demonstrated ability to publish peer-reviewed research in quantum computing
- Experience with quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Expertise in at least one classical ML framework (TensorFlow/PyTorch)
