Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead experiments on 100+ qubit superconducting systems
- Publish findings in Nature Physics/Quantum journals
- Mentor PhD interns in quantum error correction techniques
- Collaborate with AI teams to hybridize quantum-classical workflows
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum circuit architectures
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with superconducting qubit platforms
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or Q# frameworks
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Strong background in machine learning and statistical modeling
- Active DOE QIS clearance or eligibility
