- Lead cross-functional R&D teams across quantum hardware and software domains
- Secure $5M+ in federal and private research grants
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and Nature Quantum conferences
- Develop IP strategy for quantum patent portfolio
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Collaborate with AWS Braket and IBM Quantum cloud platforms
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development or quantum computing research
- Published work in Nature/Science journals on quantum topics
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction techniques
- Experience securing federal research grants (NSF/DOE)
- Strong background in machine learning and cryptography
