Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computing systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for practical applications
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize qubit coherence times and gate fidelities
- Publish groundbreaking research in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
- Develop strategic roadmaps for quantum computing applications in finance, healthcare, and logistics
- Secure research partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of scientific excellence
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years of research experience
- Proven track record in quantum algorithm development or quantum error correction
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature, Science, Physical Review X)
- Experience leading multidisciplinary R&D teams of 10+ researchers
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic)
- Strong patents portfolio in quantum technologies (minimum 5 granted patents)
