Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum architectures capable of solving complex optimization problems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Lead quantum algorithm implementations in Qiskit and Cirq ecosystems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit connectivity and error correction
- Document quantum system architectures and create implementation roadmaps
- Mentor cross-functional teams on quantum computing principles
- Drive R&D initiatives to achieve quantum supremacy milestones by 2026
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or high-performance computing
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, PyQuil)
- Strong background in distributed systems and parallel computing
- Published research in quantum information theory or quantum algorithms
- Certification in quantum computing from recognized institutions (e.g., IBM Q Network)
