Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum algorithms for optimization problems in finance, logistics, and AI
- Lead the development of hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Architect quantum error correction systems to achieve fault-tolerant operations
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit implementations
- Research and publish breakthrough methodologies in top-tier journals
- Mentor junior scientists and drive quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Mathematics with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Proven track record publishing in Nature/Science or equivalent peer-reviewed journals
- Mastery of quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in machine learning and classical optimization algorithms
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional technical teams
