Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols and fault-tolerant computing frameworks
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid systems for practical 2026-era applications
- Collaborate with materials science teams to optimize qubit coherence times and gate fidelities
- Create quantum algorithm blueprints for cryptography, optimization, and machine learning
- Author technical white papers and patent novel quantum computing methodologies
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum principles and implementation strategies
- Stay ahead of emerging quantum technologies through continuous research and industry partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum algorithm development
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in superconducting qubit systems and photonic quantum computing
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals or conferences
