Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithm architectures for complex optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-classical hybrid computing solutions
- Research and mitigate quantum decoherence challenges in real-world applications
- Develop patentable quantum-resistant encryption protocols for enterprise security
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit performance
- Create technical documentation and frameworks for quantum software development lifecycle
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments and parallel processing
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks and NISQ-era limitations
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong background in machine learning and classical algorithm optimization
