Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures with 100+ qubit coherence
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical optimization algorithms for enterprise applications
- Establish quantum security protocols resistant to Shor's algorithm attacks
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, cryptographers, and software engineers
- Drive quantum simulation projects for material science and drug discovery
- Author technical white papers for IEEE and ACM quantum computing journals
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford quantum research initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm design
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Proficiency in quantum machine learning and variational algorithms
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum processors
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and fault-tolerant roadmap
