Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting and photonic systems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum operations
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence times
- Author technical specifications for quantum-resistant cryptographic systems
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to executive stakeholders and industry partners
- Drive quantum algorithm development for optimization and simulation applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum computing architecture or quantum hardware design
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerance methodologies
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in superconducting qubit systems or photonic quantum computing
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with high-performance computing architectures and parallel processing
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business applications
