Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computation
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical architectures for enterprise-scale optimization problems
- Create quantum security frameworks resistant to cryptographic threats post-2025
- Lead quantum algorithm development for drug discovery and materials science applications
- Establish industry standards for quantum computing benchmarking and validation
- Collaborate with NASA and DOD on quantum navigation and encryption projects
- Present quantum breakthroughs at international conferences including IEEE Quantum Week
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, Physical Review X)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and circuit optimization
- Proven track record of scaling quantum systems beyond 50 qubits with <1% error rates
- Familiarity with quantum machine learning frameworks (PennyLane, TensorFlow Quantum)
- Security clearance eligibility for government quantum initiatives
- Experience leading R&D teams with $10M+ annual budgets
