Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for 2026-era computational challenges
- Lead research in quantum neural networks and hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prototype quantum solutions for real-world applications
- Publish peer-reviewed papers and present findings at top-tier conferences
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing best practices
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA grants
- Contribute to open-source quantum AI frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Computer Science, or Physics (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Publication record in top-tier quantum/AI conferences (NeurIPS, QIP, etc.)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in deep learning and classical ML optimization
- Experience with high-performance computing environments
- Ability to communicate complex quantum concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Passion for solving 2026's grand challenges through technology
