Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning models for optimization and predictive analytics
- Develop novel quantum algorithms leveraging 100+ qubit systems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to co-design quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives in quantum cryptography and error correction
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Secure federal and private research funding through grant proposals
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
- Publication record in quantum machine learning or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and high-performance computing
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and information theory
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Proven ability to translate complex research into commercial applications
