Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum-AI hybrid algorithms for next-gen computational frameworks
- Lead cross-functional research teams in developing fault-tolerant quantum neural networks
- Develop proprietary quantum machine learning models with 99.9% accuracy benchmarks
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum coherence times for AI workloads
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, IEEE)
- Secure $2M+ in government/private research grants annually
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum machine learning methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or Computational Physics with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum neural networks
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quipper) and AI frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Experience with quantum hardware (IBM Quantum, Rigetti) and error correction protocols
- Strong mathematical background in linear algebra, topology, and information theory
- Proven track record of securing federal research grants (NSF, DARPA, DOE)
- Expertise in quantum cryptography and post-quantum security protocols
