Responsibilities
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical AI algorithms for real-world problem solving
- Design and implement error correction protocols for quantum neural networks
- Collaborate with quantum hardware engineers to optimize AI-quantum interfaces
- Lead cross-functional teams in deploying quantum AI solutions across finance, healthcare, and logistics
- Research and publish breakthroughs in quantum machine learning frameworks
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computational theory
- Secure funding through NSF and DoE grant applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with exceptional experience)
- 3+ years developing quantum algorithms or AI systems
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit) and Python frameworks
- Experience with quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum/AI journals
- Strong background in machine learning and neural networks
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts for technical and non-technical stakeholders
