Responsibilities
- Perform detailed visual and dimensional inspections of aircraft components and assemblies.
- Interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to verify specifications.
- Operate precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM) and non-destructive testing equipment.
- Document inspection results accurately and report any deviations or non-conformities immediately.
- Collaborate with production engineers to troubleshoot quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain a clean and organized inspection workspace in compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, aviation, or a skilled trade is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify even the smallest defects.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read technical data.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy parts when necessary.
