Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient appointments and ensure seamless care transitions between departments
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and documentation
- Act as primary liaison between patients, families, and clinical teams
- Process insurance verifications and assist with financial counseling
- Support patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in healthcare administration or related field
- 1+ years experience in healthcare coordination or patient services
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic/EMR preferred)
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent credential
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends
