Responsibilities
- Technical Support: Provide tier-two technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Network Administration: Monitor network performance, configure routers and switches, and ensure secure data transmission.
- System Maintenance: Perform routine system updates, patch management, and backups to ensure business continuity.
- Security Management: Implement and maintain IT security protocols, firewalls, and antivirus solutions to protect company assets.
- User Training: Conduct training sessions for staff on new software applications and security best practices.
- Asset Management: Maintain an inventory of all hardware and software assets and manage procurement processes for part-time needs.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or help desk operations.
- Visa Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the US and be willing to undergo the visa sponsorship process.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Office Suite, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- OS Knowledge: Familiarity with Linux operating systems and basic scripting (PowerShell or Bash) is a plus.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Certification: CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certification is highly preferred.
