Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end logistics for corporate and social events (20-30 hrs/week)
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts with local D.C. venues
- Create detailed event timelines and oversee setup/execution
- Act as primary client liaison for 5-10 concurrent projects
- Suppose on-site event teams during execution phases
- Post-event analysis and client satisfaction reporting
- Maintain digital inventory of event materials and resources
Qualifications
- 2+ years event coordination experience in D.C. metro area
- Proficiency in event management software (Cvent, Eventbrite)
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Ability to work evenings/weekends as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of D.C. venue landscape and regulations
- Portfolio demonstrating successful event execution
