Responsibilities
- Coordinate on-site logistics for private and public events
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure contract compliance
- Oversee setup/breakdown crews and volunteer scheduling
- Handle guest inquiries with exceptional customer service
- Execute event timelines and troubleshoot in real-time
- Collaborate with marketing team on promotional activities
- Conduct post-event evaluations and documentation
Qualifications
- 1+ years experience in event coordination or hospitality
- Proficiency with event management software (e.g., Cvent)
- Valid Louisiana driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work weekends/evenings and stand for extended periods
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Knowledge of New Orleans venues and local regulations
- Basic first/CPR certification preferred
- French/Spanish language skills a plus
