The Role:
As a Part-Time Data Analyst, you will support our senior analysts in maintaining data integrity, generating reports, and uncovering trends that drive business decisions. This is a direct hire position with the potential for full-time growth.
Responsibilities
- Data Processing: Clean, transform, and validate large datasets to ensure accuracy for reporting purposes.
- Visualization: Create compelling dashboards and charts using Tableau or PowerBI to present data findings to stakeholders.
- Reporting: Develop and distribute weekly and monthly performance reports for key management stakeholders.
- Database Management: Assist in querying databases using SQL to extract specific information required for projects.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide analytical support.
- Quality Assurance: Perform routine audits of data pipelines to identify and rectify errors.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Data Science, Mathematics, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (SELECT, JOINs, Subqueries) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables).
- Tools: Basic knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Google Data Studio) is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data simply.
- Reliability: Must be able to commit to a consistent part-time schedule (e.g., 20-25 hours per week).
