Responsibilities
- Conduct door-to-door and event-based outreach to promote community programs and resources
- Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, nonprofits, and community leaders
- Collect and document community feedback to inform program development
- Organize and facilitate neighborhood workshops and informational sessions
- Track outreach metrics and submit weekly activity reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate community events
- Represent the organization professionally at public engagements and forums
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- 6+ months experience in community outreach, sales, or customer service
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in basic data collection and reporting tools
- Valid Illinois driver's license and reliable transportation
