Responsibilities
- Oversee daily logistics and supply chain operations to ensure timely delivery and optimal inventory levels.
- Analyze operational data and financial reports to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of operations staff, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, finance, and procurement to align operational goals with business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding safety and environmental standards.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to secure the best value for the company.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the logistics or manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record of leading teams and managing budgets effectively.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and data analysis tools.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various facilities.
