Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily logistics and warehouse operations to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of supervisors and staff members.
- Analyze operational data and KPIs to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
- Develop and manage the annual budget for the Baltimore branch, controlling costs and maximizing ROI.
- Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with supply chain partners to optimize inventory levels and reduce waste.
- Handle escalated customer inquiries and resolve complex logistical issues efficiently.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the logistics, warehousing, or supply chain sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and reducing costs in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced MS Office Suite skills.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams under pressure.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the Baltimore metropolitan area.
